Launching January 2019
Be a transformative donor. Contribute $1,000 or more to the Annual Fund and join the annual Cornerstone Society. Receive listing recognition in our monthly e-blast and our Annual Report, delivery of our Impact Report and Annual Report to your home or business, and invitations to private parties and special events.
Adopt a Room Sponsor
Adopt one of RMHC Richmond’s Rooms for the year by contributing $5,000 or more of unrestricted funds (or $10,000 in-kind). Each Adopt a Room sponsor receives an in-House wall dedication square in our foyer, a bi-annual handwritten thank you card from a family, and invitations to private parties and events. These sponsorships are available on a rolling basis from 12 months of the date of written pledge or financial check receipt. Current sponsors also have the first right to renew their sponsorship before the opportunity is offered to others in the next year.
Are you a catalytic philanthropist or venture philanthropy company interested in how your support can assist with capacity building, growth, and organizational evolution? Visionaries provide $5,000 or more of unrestricted funds as an alternative to Room Sponsors and receive recognition on the RMHC Richmond website linking to their own company or page of interest, bi-annual updates from members of the leadership team, and invitations to private parties and events. These sponsorships are available on a rolling basis from 12 months of the date of written pledge or financial check receipt.
Special Event Sponsor
Sponsoring one of our special events is a great way to engage with colleagues and friends, support families in need, and receive brand recognition. From the Big Pig Project (a spring block party), to the Red Shoe Rendezvous (a two day gala and golf tournament), to The Character Breakfast (a family-friendly fall morning) our three major events serve as gateways to deepening our emotional engagement with the community while strengthening our financial health.
A small commitment each month makes a transformative impact over the course of the year. Improve our operational efficiency by checking the box to donate monthly and become a House Hero.
Planned Giving Society
By naming RMHC Richmond in your estate plans you leave a legacy to help families whose children are in urgent need. Planned Giving Society members are featured in Annual Reports, and invited to private parties and events. The following language is an example of wording that may be used to name Ronald McDonald House Charities Richmond as a beneficiary of your last will and testament. Your gift may be of a specific dollar amount or it may also be of a percentage of your estate. “I, [name], of [city, state ZIP], give, devise and bequeath to Ronald McDonald House Charities Richmond, [federal tax ID #], [written amount or percentage of the estate or description of property] for its unrestricted use and purpose.” You can also use the Gift Illustrator to assist with your planning.
If you would like to meet in person or talk by phone to learn more about any of these opportunities, contact Amy Atticks, Director of Development and Communications (804) 355-6517 or AmyAbigail@rmhc-richmond.org.
