Pop Tops
Something so simple can mean so much

|
Collecting pop tops is a great way to teach kids about philanthropy and the importance of recycling, as well as raise funds to help children and their families. Schools, service organizations, churches, businesses, and individuals collect pop tops for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond. We raise thousands of dollars each year with our pop top collections! Download a Pop Top Program flyer.
Why only the tops?
RMHC Chapters collect pop tops instead of entire alumninum cans because it's more hygienic to store tops than cans, and collection and storage is easier.
How do I participate?
Collecting pop tops couldn't be easier! Collect pop tabs in a wide-mouth containter, then drop them off at RMHC of Richmond at 2330 Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA 23220 any day of the week between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.
What happens next?
After the tops are collected, we bring the pop tops to local recycling centers, where they are weighed to determine thier value. The recycling center will send RMHC of Richmond a check for the total value.
